Introduction
Inner City Ideas Cartel (ICIC) is a members club following the template of SOHO house. They offer co-working spaces, private offices, hotel suits, gym access, cafes/restaurants as well as organising events.
In their third year of operation they were looking to increase facility usage by moving to a pay-as-you-go credit card payment method for non-members and members alike in their previously members only app.
Outcomes and Objectives
- To increase Cartel House occupancy by increasing informal desk and boardroom bookings through the app.
- For users to enter their card details into the app simply and without hesitation.
- To increase downloads and usage of the app by non members
- To make booking a desk/boardroom an effortless task for informal users.
- To make booking a a boardroom effortless for existing members.
Challenges
- Implementing member, non-member permissions and user journeys in the existing memebers only application
- To implement a new UI and CI without disorientating existing users.
- To seamlessly transition to a card payment system.
Extending the experience
Above the app implementation I worked on a number of touchpoints such as standalone landing pages for Cartel House.
